ChildcareFundingIQ is a financial planning tool built for Ontario licensed child care operators. This policy explains what data we collect, how it is stored, and how you can control it.
What data we collect
We collect only the information you provide directly: your email address when you create an account, and the centre data you enter while using the tool (centre name, program details, financial inputs). We do not collect any data automatically beyond what is required for authentication.
How it is stored
Your data is stored in a Supabase database hosted in Canada. Supabase uses row-level security, which means your data is logically isolated - no other user or account can access it. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit.
Who can access your data
Only you can access your centre's data. ChildcareFundingIQ staff do not access individual user data except where explicitly required to resolve a support issue you have raised with us, and only with your permission.
Data sharing
We do not sell, share, or disclose your data to any third parties. We use Supabase for database hosting and Stripe for payment processing. Stripe processes payment information directly and we do not store card details. Neither Supabase nor Stripe receives your centre-specific funding data.
Data retention and deletion
Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing info@childcarefundingiq.ca. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
Cookies
We use a minimal session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking.
